Join us in the Great Hall at the Fleming College Haliburton School of Art and Design for a FREE Art Talk! After the loss of her father in 2021, artist Kim-Lee Kho embarked on a process of reflection, excavating memory, identity and the experience of love and loss. Out of that grew an ongoing project and two solo exhibitions. It also strengthened her connections to herself, her roots and to the rest of humanity through the ages. Burnt Offerings is a multidisciplinary project incorporating photo-digital, pyrography, firelight, printmaking, sculpture, installation, poetry, spoken word, a custom carpet and animation… so far.
