Event Details:

Join us in the Great Hall at the Fleming College Haliburton School of Art and Design for a FREE Art Talk! Tracey perceives herself as an abstract painter. However, the success of her work as a nature artist is based in realism. In her talk, she’ll discuss her journey from painting in the representational realm to abstraction. For her, realism became monotonous and started to feel contrived. Painting nature was innate, so she took up the challenge and discovered ways to bridge the veil between what we see and what we feel. In this talk, Tracey will share what worked for her, and ways you can explore and incorporate abstraction into your form of expression.
